Both, Early Room and Extended Day Programs are an extension of our regular school day for families needing before- or after-school care.
Program Fees and Payment
- Fees are based upon families’ annual income and size (proof of income required). We use the State Median Income guidelines, which will be available to you upon enrollment of Early Room or Extended Day.
- Fees are payable in advance. Early Room is based on purchasing a 5- or 20-day ticket (with no expiration date). Extended Day fees are paid in full for the number of days your child is enrolled, i.e. every Monday and Wednesday only; or for each school day in the month. There are no refunds for absences, unless the program is canceled due to inclement weather or other emergencies.
- Late fees will be incurred for late pick-ups during Extended Day.
Early Room Expectations
- Bring your child all the way up to the early room and sign him or her in. We need your signature to give us permission to take care of your child until the school day starts.
- Do not drop your child off in the early room before 7:30 or after 8:30. Please note: if your child arrives after 8:30, he/she will have to wait in the lobby (unsupervised) until the school day begins.
- You will be required to pay for Early Room in advance by purchasing a 5-day ticket or a 20-day ticket (cost depends on a family’s annual income and family size).
- Students are expected to follow all school rules during the use of any of the above programs.
Extended Day Expectations
- Extended Day hours are from 3:30-5:30PM.
- Students are to follow all school rules during Extended Day.
- Late fees will be incurred when a child is not picked up on time and fees are expected to be paid directly to the staff member waiting with your child, and at time of service. All late fees must be paid prior to your child returning to the program. Frequent late pick ups will result in your child being removed from the program.
